BEDFELLOWS | SPLITS SERIES
The bedfellows split series marks our shift from a biannual literary magazine that publishes dozens of writers each year to a press that focuses on longer-form work by two writers at a time.
We're not ending the magazine—instead, this new project reflects a desire to slow down and devote our available time, resources, and attention to thoughtfully paired, longer form works while staying connected to the community of writers & readers that bedfellows has grown over 13 years. The format is also an homage to our punk/DIY roots; the split has origins in vinyl records & was popularized in underground music scenes, emphasizing collaboration and shared space.
